Moscow Public Foundation for Support of Culture and Development of Contemporary Art has started preparations for the XIV International Festival of Arts “Traditions and Modernity”, which will be held from May 29 to June 1, 2025 in the Manezh/Gostiny Dvor/ International Exhibition Complex ART-SPACE in Moscow. The festival is held annually and has rightfully become one of the most famous art events in the international professional community.
The festival has been held since 2007 and during this time has attracted more than 5890 galleries and artists from more than 60 countries and 72 regions of Russia, painstakingly selecting works by the best Russian and world artists, inspiring them to create and experiment
On February 26, 2025 in the press center of MIA “Russia Today”, (Moscow Zubovsky Boulevard, 4, page 1) will be held a press conference dedicated to the beginning of the XIV International Festival “Tradition and Modernity” this year.

Alexander Alimov – Director of the Department for Multilateral Humanitarian Cooperation and Cultural Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation;
Ekaterina Torubarova – Head of the Public Diplomacy Department of the Federal Agency for the Commonwealth of Independent States (“Rossotrudnichestvo”);
Ivan Glazunov – People’s Artist of the Russian Federation, Rector of the Russian Academy of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture;

This year’s Festival has a special mission – against the background of political instability and attempts to crush the Russian cultural code, the Festival is called not only to strengthen the authority of Russian culture in the international arena, but also to foster in the modern generation a sense of pride in their country and its role in world culture. We believe it is very important to ensure that this event is widely publicized.
