On June 20, 2024, Moscow hosted the grand opening of the XIII International Festival of Fine Arts “Traditions and Modernity” with the symbolic slogan “Art without Borders”.
This significant cultural event was attended by representatives of more than 25 countries, including China, the USA, the UK and Ecuador.
The festival was organized by the Moscow Public Foundation for the Support of Culture and Development of Contemporary Art.
The opening ceremony was attended by prominent figures from art, business and politics, including MPs, ambassadors and renowned artists.
The guests were presented with a wide range of artworks, as well as a special project “Africa without Borders”, which included a unique collection of over 800 pieces of African art, which became the largest in Russia.
The festival also became a platform for discussions and lectures on topical issues of contemporary art, law, the importance and role of the artist in society.
Participants discussed copyright issues, support for young artists and the need for collections, as well as the influence of culture on branding.
Lectures and master classes provided access to valuable knowledge for artists and art lovers.
Among the highlights of the Festival were immersive shows and performances by various artists who created works of art live using unusual techniques.
Meanwhile, the Festival became an informative platform bringing together major partners such as Sberbank, Creative Agency and others, which testified to the high interest in art world events.
The final award ceremony took place on June 23 and marked the successful completion of the festival, which has become a symbol of cultural exchange and bringing people together through art.
From its opening to the rich program, the festival left a strong impression of the importance of art as a means of mutual understanding and dialogue between peoples.
