RULES FOR ACCREDITATION OF MEDIA REPRESENTATIVES

  1. General Provisions
    1.1. Accreditation of journalists to exhibitions organized by the Moscow Public Foundation for Support of Culture and Development of Contemporary Art (hereinafter referred to as the “Organizer”) is carried out by the Organizer’s Press Service in order to provide objective media coverage of the Exhibition’s activities and create the necessary conditions for the professional activities of media representatives.
    1.2. Accreditation is carried out on the basis of the provisions of the Constitution of the Russian Federation, in the


  2. Conditions and procedure for accreditation of media representatives
    2.1. Mass media officially registered in accordance with the Law of the Russian Federation “On Mass Media” on the territory of the Russian Federation have the right to accredit their representatives at the Exhibition.
    2.2. The Organizer’s Press Service informs the media about the rules and terms of accreditation in advance.
    2.3. The application for accreditation is submitted to the Organizer’s Press Service on the official letterhead of the media signed by the head of the press service.


    .5. The application for accreditation shall be accepted in the original.
    2.6. The decision on accreditation on the basis of the submitted application shall be made by the Head of the Press Service of the Organizer.
    2.7. The Press Service has the right to refuse accreditation to the media, which by the nature of their activities are not specialized in the field of news broadcasting.
    2.8. Accreditation of foreign journalists shall be carried out in accordance with these Regulations, provided that the journalist in question is accredited by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation. xml-ph-0003
  • if the media representative violated the established accreditation rules;
  • if the news item may knowingly contain information discrediting the honor and dignity of the Organizer and/or the Exhibition Participants.
    2.12. Accredited journalists shall inform the Press Service of their arrival one day before the event they are interested in by sending a message to the Organizer by phone. A representative of the Press Service shall accompany the journalists on the day of the exhibition.
  1. Rights and duties of accredited journalists
    3.1. Accredited journalists have the right to:
  • receive information about the Exhibition from the Organizer;
  • to take photos and videos in the Exhibition area with the consent of the Organizer and the Exhibitors;
  • obtain necessary information from the Press Service staff, including at press conferences;
  • to use video and photo materials provided by the press service of the Organizer in the prescribed manner;
  • request assistance in organizing meetings and discussions with the management and participants of the Exhibition from representatives of the Press Service.
    3.2 Accredited journalists shall be obliged to:
  • respect the rights, legitimate interests, honor and dignity, business reputation of all participants of the Exhibition and representatives of the Organizer;
  • comply with the rules for taking photos and videos of the Exhibition;
  • use only documented facts in their professional activities, observe generally recognized norms of journalistic ethics, and not to disseminate negative materials containing unsubstantiated criticism of the activities of the Exhibitors and the Exhibition Organizer;

  • comply with the requirements of Article 51 of the Law of the Russian Federation “On Mass Media” on the prohibition of using the journalist’s right to disseminate information to defame a citizen or certain categories of citizens solely on the grounds of sex, age, race or nationality, language, attitude to religion, profession, place of residence and work, as well as in connection with their political beliefs.
    3.3 Accredited journalists and editorial offices of accredited media outlets have the right to request information of interest to them about the Exhibition. 3.3.

  • directly at the oral request of the journalist;
  • at the written request of the media.
  1. Rules of Photo and Video Shooting
    4.1. General Provisions
    4.4.1. Only duly accredited representatives of mass media (Mass Media) may take photos and/or videos.
    4.4.2. When taking photos and/or videos, an accredited journalist must have an accreditation badge and press tape issued by the Organizer before filming.
    4.4.3..4.3 The accreditation badge shall be attached to the journalist’s clothing, and the press tape shall be attached to the photo or video camera.
    4.4.4 While on the territory of the Exhibition, the journalist (and/or film crew) shall be obliged to carry a press card, accreditation badge, and press tape on the photo and/or video camera.
  2. Photography and filming of the Exhibition
    5.5.1. The journalist (and/or film crew) shall be entitled to take photos and/or videos of the Exhibition subject to agreement of the purpose and material of the filming with the Exhibition Organizer.
    5.5.2. The journalist (and/or film crew) shall take general plans of the Exhibition subject to agreement of the Exhibition Organizer.
    5..5.3 When filming directly at the stands of the Exhibitors, the journalist (and/or film crew) shall obtain prior verbal permission from the Exhibitor to film his (the Exhibitor’s) stand and the items exhibited thereon.
  3. Final provisions
    6.1. These Rules apply to all exhibitions organized by the Moscow Public Foundation for Support of Culture and Development of Contemporary Art;
    6.2. All amendments and additions to these Rules are approved by a separate Regulation.
