On the eve of the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory and as a sign of adoration to the heroism of the soldiers of the Soviet Army, the art exhibition “MEMORY OF THE VICTORY” will open on April 24, 2025 in ART-SPACE on Tverskaya Street, 9. From April 25 to May 25, everyone will be able to see a living reflection of history – in the colors, images and emotions of artists.
The exhibition unites the feat of Soviet soldiers and the courage of modern heroes of Donbass in a single artistic narrative. The works of recognized masters and young talents will bring to life the theme of Victory, the theme of selfless service to the Motherland.
A special place will be occupied by artistic sketches and studies by Denis Valeryevich Gavrileyko, a native of Kursk region, whose life is inextricably linked with the NWO zone. A direct participant of the events, he creates a unique chronicle of modern heroism, capturing on canvas the harsh truth and unwavering will to victory. Ten of his works have already entered the golden fund of the Central Museum of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, and exhibitions have been successfully held in his native Kursk region.

The Union of Artists of the DNR was established in 2014 as the successor of the Donetsk regional organization of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine. Despite the difficult conditions, the works of the masters have become a reflection of the historical memory, resilience and inner strength of the people.
