The grand opening of the new exhibition “Strength and Grace” took place on February 20, 2025 in the International Exhibition Complex ART-SPACE at 9 Tverskaya Street.
ART-SPACE is an event in the cultural life of Moscow! A modern international exhibition space in the heart of the capital accumulates on its platform all the most advanced and brightest from the world of contemporary art.
The exhibition “Strength and Grace” gives the viewer the opportunity to see in person the work of artists who sought to convey the beauty of the unity and struggle of opposites. The eternal theme of conflict and unity of the feminine and masculine.
It is not by chance that the exhibition is held at the junction of winter and spring, during the period of traditional Russian holidays. On February 23, we celebrate Defender of the Fatherland Day, dedicated to men whose strength protects and defends. And March 8 is International Women’s Day, symbolizing the beauty, love and tenderness of women. In the days when winter meets spring, the space of the exhibition “Strength and Grace” will give us a new emotional experience and an opportunity to better understand each other through the works of contemporary artists.
The closed preview of the exhibition was attended by all the creative youth of Moscow. Because the Moscow Public Foundation for Support of Culture and Contemporary Art is one of the few who are able to attract the attention of the youth audience to contemporary art projects. The new exhibition in ART-SPACE “Power and Grace” has been enriched with stunning works by talented artists from different parts of our country, as well as special projects by young artists who demonstrate a new view of contemporary art. Their works reflect fresh ideas and unique styles, surprising the audience:
Darya Sanatina is included in the list of TOP-100 Best Contemporary Artists of Russia and in the Association of Eurasian Art Union. Her paintings convey all facets of female nature. They are rarely seen in Moscow. Mostly the artist is represented in art galleries in Europe and China;
Max Borisov is the youngest participant of the exposition. His work surprises with its versatility: from black and white realism to abstractionism. His works symbolize the passion and ardor of masculinity. This is his first solo exhibition;
Linda de La is an artist who explores various social and psychological themes in her work: human personality in all its facets through the prism of art, self-development, motives and actions;
Elina Grigoryan is a regular participant of Russian and foreign exhibitions, her works are kept in museums and private collections in Russia and abroad. Her paintings are manifested through the bright temperament of an oriental woman;
Andrey Voronin – also known as Alvaro Neelix, works in his unique style of “Psy Art”. Inspired by new ideas and methods, the artist has created a distinctive series of works, including the famous “Red Square”. The painting, which according to the artist himself most accurately and convincingly reveals the essence of the mysterious Russian soul, Americans enviously called this picture “Red Russian Baba”;
Oleg Zakomorny is a Russian sculptor and graphic artist, Honored Artist of the Russian Federation (2010), corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Arts. He is a senior lecturer at the Art Department of the S.A. Gerasimov All-Russian State Institute of Cinematography;
Vladimir Naumov – Soviet and Russian film director, screenwriter, producer, teacher; People’s Artist of the USSR (1983), winner of the State Prize of the USSR (1985) His works are represented by his lifelong companion, Soviet and Russian film actress, People’s Artist of the RSFSR Natalia Belokhvostikova;
In her address to the visitors at the grand opening of the exhibition “Strength and Grace” Natalia Belokhvostikova noted: “ART-Space is a fantastic energy! When I walk through these halls, I always feel a sense of joy and flight. And today a new graphic series of works by Vladimir Naumov is presented here”.
At the VIP-Preview, visitors were able to personally interact with artists and collectors, learned about new trends in contemporary art and made useful acquaintances with patrons of art, politicians, scientists and media personalities.
The evening was complemented by a bright concert of singer NASTIKA. Her performance gave the visitors of the exhibition “Power and Grace” incredible emotions and created an atmosphere of magic.
